A MAC address (Media Access Control address) serves to uniquely identify a device in a network.
The MAC address at which computers or other devices can access the FRITZ!Box depends on whether the device is connected to the FRITZ!Box via a network cable or Wi-Fi.
Mac - OSX 10.14 and up, though 10.13 might work too. MacOS 10.15 is currently untested. Linux - a fairly recent linux distro with libc = 2.6 Start downloading the Fritzing package that's right for you. Unzip your Fritzing folder somewhere convenient on your hard drive. Fritzing is an free and open source initiative that aims to support designers and artists to to work creatively with interactive electronics. By using Fritzing, users can easily document their Arduino-based prototype and create a a PCB layout for manufacturing. In addition, the Fritzing utility enables.
Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.
1 Determining the FRITZ!Box's Wi-Fi MAC address
- Click 'Wi-Fi' in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click 'Wi-Fi Network' ('Radio Network') in the 'Wi-Fi' ('Wireless') menu.
- Make note of the MAC address listed in the section '2.4-GHz frequency band' or '5-GHz frequency band'. If the MAC address is not displayed, enable the Advanced View first.
2 Determining the FRITZ!Box's LAN MAC address
You can use a computer connected to a LAN port on the FRITZ!Box to determine the FRITZ!Box's LAN MAC address. The procedure depends on the operating system of the computer:
Windows
- Press the keyboard shortcut Windows key + R.
- Enter cmd in the 'Open' field and click 'OK'.
- Enter nslookup fritz.box in the command prompt window and press Enter.
- Make note of the IP address of the FRITZ!Box displayed next to the entry 'Address:'.
- Enter arp -a [IP address of the FRITZ!Box] and press Enter. Example:
arp -a 192.168.178.1 - Make note of the MAC address of the FRITZ!Box displayed under the entry 'Physical Address'.
macOS

- Open the Finder.
- Click 'Applications' and then 'Utilities'.
- Start the Terminal.
- Enter nslookup fritz.box in the terminal and press Enter.
- Make note of the IP address of the FRITZ!Box displayed next to the entry 'Address:'.
- Enter arp [IP address of the FRITZ!Box] and press Enter. Example:
arp 192.168.178.1 - Make note of the FRITZ!Box MAC address.

Installation
- Download and run the installation file.
- In the next two dialog boxes, click in each case on “Next” in order to confirm the installation path and the elements to be installed and to start the installation.
- Finally, click on “Install”, so as to start the installation process. Now allow the installation to take place and close the process with the “Finish” button.

Program activation

- Start Fritz 15 via the new program icon on your desktop. The program will now request your activation key.
- Enter your program key (it is printed inside the program box right below the DVD fixture) and the four characters which are represented in a distorted fashion on the green background. Finish with “OK”.
- Click on “Fritz” in the start screen.
- When the Fritz 15 board appears on the screen, go to the top left via “File” – “Activation” – “Activate”
- In the next dialog box enter the the security number again and activateyour program with “OK”.

- Run Fritz 15 and select the second menu item on the left-hand side, “playchess.com”.

- Type serial key and security code requested. Log back in to playchess.com again – and you’re good to go!
